2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup each chopped green pepper, celery and onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 pounds ground beef
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed golden mushroom or cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon pepper

In a large bowl, combine the eggs, oats, green pepper, celery, onion, and salt. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight oval patties. In a large skillet, brown patties on both sides: drain.

Place patties in an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Combine the soup, water, and pepper: pour over beef. Cover and bake at 3500 for 30-35 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink.
