Kids love this dish because it combines two of their favorite fast foods. And /like the fact that I can whip it up with just four ingredients.
Prep: 10 minutes | Cook: 50minutes | Yield: 6-8 servings
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 can (1 0-3/4 ounces) condensed golden mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (1 0-3/4 ounces) condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
1 package (20 ounces) frozen crinkle-cut French fries
ln a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in soups. Pour into a greased 1 3-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Arrange French fries on top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50-55 minutes or until the fries are golden brown.
For extra cheeseburger flair, add to this fun casserole with your family’s favorite burger toppings. For example, you could cook some chopped onion along with the ground beef. Or, after the casserole comes out of the oven, sprinkle on a little-shredded lettuce, diced tomato or cooked and crumbled bacon.
