1 pound ground round
1 egg
1/2 cup crushed saltines
1/2 small onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 can (16 ounces) whole- berry cranberry sauce
1 can (10-3/4 ounces)  low-fat condensed tomato soup, undiluted
Cooked rice or noodles, optional

In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Shape into 1-1/2-in. balls. Place on a rack in a baking pan. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine cranberry sauce and soup; heat through. Add meatballs and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles if Yield: 6 servings.
